to clients, and our funding comes from the generous contributions of individuals, corporations, foundations, businesses, and service and fraternal clubs. We provide guide dogs for veterans who are blind; service dogs for those with other physical or emotional disabilities; physical and occupational therapy dogs to work with amputees in military and VA hospitals; and combat stress control dogs to be deployed in theater.How to Apply:The admission process starts when a prospective applicant fills out Part 1 of our application, which can be completed on our website online. If the applicant would prefer a hard copy of the application, it is available upon request. If the prospective applicant has questions about our programs or would like more information about the assistance dog lifestyle, the Consumer Services Department is available by phone or email to answer any questions at 1-866-282-8047 or ConsumerServices@vetdogs.org.Document required:-copy of your DD-214, if discharged
