The directory you're reading about isn't a phone book — it's a promise. Every listing now shows when it was last verified and where the information came from. If something's stale, we say so, right on the page. No more calling a number that was disconnected two years ago.

The numbers so far

Thousands of Atlanta organizations — food pantries, shelters, clinics, legal aid offices, job programs — are now searchable in plain English and Spanish. Say "I need somewhere to sleep tonight" and the directory understands.

How you can help

Used a resource lately? Tap "called — it works" on its listing. That one tap tells the next person the phone still rings. Folk knowledge is the most valuable data in this city, and it lives in people like you.
