Deaf-led domestic violence advocacyService

Free, confidential advocacy and crisis support for Deaf, hard of hearing, DeafBlind and late-deafened survivors and children of Deaf adults.

Domestic Violence Advocacy for the Deaf and Hard of HearingService

Deaf advocates give free, private support to Deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened and DeafBlind survivors of abuse, and to children of Deaf adults. They offer crisis help and connect people to other services.

Housing and Emergency Shelter LinkageService

BRIDGES connects survivors with partners such as domestic violence shelters and community programs. It helps people reach housing and shelter help.

Interpreter and Accommodation AdvocacyService

Advocates speak up for your access to interpreters and other communication supports when you deal with services. BRIDGES does not have interpreters on its own staff.

Legal and Systems AdvocacyService

BRIDGES helps survivors deal with the court system and police, and connects them to legal help and other community resources.

Partner Co-Advocacy and EducationProgram

BRIDGES works side by side with other service providers to help them serve Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing survivors better. It also shares tips on Deaf culture and communication.

Safety Planning and Crisis InterventionService

Advocates explain your options, help you make a safety plan, and give emotional support in American Sign Language.
