A weekly group for people who are newly blind or low vision, plus friends and family. Members share coping tips and support each other.

Adult Rehabilitation ServicesProgram

One-on-one and class training for adults with low or no vision. Topics include safe travel with a white cane, cooking and home tasks, medication management, and technology like screen readers and phone voice features.

Bioptic Services EvaluationService

A one-hour visit with a low vision eye doctor to decide if a bioptic device could work for you and whether you could use it well.

Financial Assistance and Sliding Fee ScaleService

CVI lowers fees based on income and household size. It can apply to low vision exams, rehabilitation classes, some store items, and children's assessments and programs. You must show income paperwork before any discount is approved.

Florence Maxwell Low Vision ClinicService

A specially trained eye doctor looks at how well you can use your sight and suggests aids and devices. You also meet an occupational therapist who shows you lighting, magnifiers and ways to do daily tasks.

Friends and Family Support GroupProgram

A monthly group for people who help someone with vision loss. It offers support and resources for caregivers, family and friends.

Goalball Introduction (with Georgia Blind Sports Association)Program

CVI and Georgia Blind Sports Association introduce youth to goalball, a team sport for athletes with vision loss, through intro sessions, demo games and tournaments.

Men's Support GroupProgram

A peer-led monthly group for men who live with vision loss. It meets by conference call.
