Birth & Death Certificates (Vital Records)Service

You can order certified birth and death certificates in person, by mail or online. Only certain relatives or legal representatives may get them, and you must show photo ID and pay first.

Birth Control & Family PlanningService

Staff teach about all birth control methods and offer exams and birth control, including IUDs. Care includes breast and cervical cancer and STI screening. It is for women and men.

Breast & Cervical Cancer ScreeningService

Breast exams, mammogram referrals, pelvic exams and Pap tests for low-income women without enough insurance. Women with abnormal results get follow-up care.

Early Hearing Detection And Intervention ProgramProgram

This program gives hearing screening and follow-up for newborn babies who need it. It is for babies born in Cobb and Douglas County and for families who may need extra language support.

Free HIV TestingService

Free, private HIV tests with a finger prick. Results can come in about a minute. You can walk in or make an appointment at four health centers, including Smyrna.

Free Larvicide Tablets (Mosquito BTI Dunks)Program

Cobb and Douglas residents can pick up one free pack of six mosquito dunks per household at the front desk of any health center, including Smyrna. It runs from Sept. 25 through Oct. 30.

HIV Prevention, PrEP and Free CondomsService

Free condoms are at every health center, and can be mailed to you. PrEP, a medicine that helps prevent HIV, is available by appointment. Health educators can also come to your event.
