Alumni ProgramProgram

Fun group activities for adults with disabilities who have aged out of FOCUS programs. Activities last a couple of hours.

Beach Wheelchair RentalService

FOCUS lends all-terrain or beach wheelchairs for up to two weeks. Families pick them up and return them and pay a refundable deposit.

Extra Special SaturdayProgram

Free short-term childcare on selected Saturdays in spring and fall for children with significant disabilities or medical needs. Children enjoy play and music therapy while parents get a break.

Family ActivitiesProgram

FOCUS raises money so families can go on outings at very discounted prices, such as the zoo, aquarium, and botanical gardens. It also hosts parties and a dance where families meet each other.

Family CampProgram

A weekend at the fully adaptive Camp Twin Lakes for the whole family, with activities like paddle boats, archery, arts, music, and climbing. A Saturday day-only option is also offered.

FAST Fins Adaptive Swim TeamProgram

An adaptive swim team that works on swim strokes, stamina, teamwork, confidence, following spoken directions, and fitness.

Holiday HelpProgram

Holiday gifts for children of active, lower-income FOCUS families. Donors buy gifts from each child's wish list. Spots are limited.

Hospital VisitsService

FOCUS staff and volunteers visit children who are in the hospital at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite or Arthur M. Blank. They bring a friendly visit and small treats.
