Afterschool clubs in the fall and spring for elementary and middle school students. They mix time with friends, hands-on projects, and homework help.

Embrace Refugee Birth SupportService

Support for refugee mothers through every step of pregnancy so they feel informed and confident. It includes the Healthy Moms classes and the Moms Circle.

Employment & EntrepreneurshipProgram

Job training and small-business support to help refugees find work and start businesses.

Family Job ClassProgram

A class that teaches English for the workplace and helps with getting a job. Volunteers help one-on-one with resumes, applications, and interview practice, and the class gives direct job referrals.

Growing LeadersProgram

A year-long paid internship for New American high school students. They get work experience, mostly at the Jolly Avenue Garden, plus leadership training.

Healthy Moms Classes and Moms CircleProgram

A weekly group where moms meet, share, and join a self-care activity like crafts, yoga, or affirmations. Childcare is provided.

Jolly Avenue Community GardenProgram

A garden in Clarkston with 93 plots that refugee families rent to grow food. Each plot is 9 feet by 9 feet, and each family gets one plot.

Language & LiteracyProgram

English and reading classes for refugee families, one of the four main ways the group helps. Volunteers can help in these classes.
