Borrow assistive devices for a limited time to see if they work for you before you buy. The library has hundreds of devices for daily living, vision, hearing, communication, recreation, and aging.

Device Demonstrations & AT LabsService

Visit the Atlanta labs to see, try, and compare assistive devices with a specialist. Labs cover daily living, vision, hearing, communication, aging in place, adaptive gaming, and more. It is free and by appointment.

Device Reuse ProgramProgram

Tools for Life works with FODAC in Stone Mountain, which takes donated equipment, fixes and cleans it, and passes it on. People without insurance or with too little coverage can get it free or at big savings. A Tools for Life team member can talk through reuse as a way to get a device.

Tools for Life gives trainings for groups and organizations about assistive technology, funding, disability awareness, and related topics. Trainings can be customized for the group.
