GAO helps people on SSI or SSDI who are 14 to 64 get past barriers to work. It works with employers, job programs, schools and families to find real jobs that pay at least minimum wage.

Freedom From Abuse and NeglectProgram

GAO looks into reports of abuse, neglect and deaths of people with disabilities. It also visits places where they get services, such as group homes, nursing facilities, hospitals and jails.
