Family Violence Fatality Review ProjectProgram

This project collects and studies information about domestic violence-related deaths in Georgia and shares what it learns in reports. It gathers its data mainly from public records.

Family Violence Intervention ProgramsProgram

These are 24-week classes for people who have harmed a partner or family member. The Commission helps set the rules for the classes and helps train, certify and check the programs that teach them.

Family Violence Task ForcesProgram

Task forces are local family violence groups organized by judicial circuit. The Commission has a directory to help you find the one for your area.

FVIP Facilitator and Provider Certification and TrainingProgram

People who want to teach or run court-ordered family violence classes in Georgia can follow the Commission's steps to become certified. Training hours are required.

Law Enforcement Education ProgramProgram

LEEP trains Georgia law enforcement officers on family violence laws, best practices, victim safety and holding offenders accountable. Custom training can be requested.
