Chispa helps low-income Latino families in Gwinnett County who have children ages 0-5. It teaches parents and supports early child development with home visits, to get kids ready for school.

Gift-a-FamilyProgram

Each holiday season, donors pick a Families First client family and give gifts and basic items. Families in Families First programs can apply for help.

Impact Hub ClassesProgram

These classes (now called NTDC Hub, formerly IMPACT) teach foster, kinship and adoptive parents how to care for children who have lived through trauma and loss. Finishing the class earns a certificate toward the next steps.

Morehouse School of Medicine Child and Adolescent Psychiatry ClinicService

A weekly clinic where Morehouse School of Medicine doctors and trainees evaluate and treat mental health conditions in young people up to age 21. It meets on Tuesdays at the Families First main office.

Navigator ServicesService

A navigator is a case manager who works one-on-one with you. They help you find services such as food, housing, counseling, medical care, jobs, school help and legal help.

Parenting TimeProgram

A 90-day program (also called Access and Visitation) for parents and guardians who want legitimation and visitation help. It has classes and case management to help parents work together for their children and increase time with them.

Partners in Parenting ServicesProgram

A class for parents going through divorce or separation. It teaches ways to support children during the change. It is offered in person, virtually and online.
