GSFC Financial Aid Events

GSFC Outreach staff provide workshops, trainings, and information sessions about financial aid, FAFSA completion, college fairs, and state aid programs.

Accelerated Career Education (ACE) Grant

Gives money to Georgia public high school students in grades 10 to 12 on the Accelerated Career Diploma path who enroll at a technical college in a high-demand career program.

DREAMS Scholarship

A need-based scholarship for Georgia residents at a University System or Technical College System school, studying for an associate or bachelor's degree at least half time.

Dual Enrollment

Pays for eligible high school and home study students to take college classes that count for both high school and college credit. It can cover tuition, mandatory fees, and a book allowance.

Foster Care Scholarship

Helps students who have been in foster care with the cost of attending an eligible Georgia college or university as an undergraduate.

Georgia College Completion Grant

Helps students who are part of the way through a degree and owe a balance to their school for the term. It is paid out based on available funds.

Georgia Promise Scholarship

A state program, signed into law in 2024, to help families pay for private school or home study programs. It is run through a separate Promise Scholarship website.

Georgia Public Service Memorial Grant

Helps the spouse and children of Georgia public safety officers, and of public school employees, who were killed or permanently disabled on duty pay for college in Georgia.

HERO Scholarship

S. Military Reserve members, their spouses, and children who were deployed to a combat zone.
