Provides residential education and job training support, including life skills, vocational assessment, employment readiness, Business Enterprise Program, and retail/customer service pathways.

Disability Adjudication ServicesService

This unit decides whether people qualify for Social Security disability benefits (SSDI and SSI) on behalf of the Social Security Administration. You apply through Social Security, not through GVRA.

Independent Living ServicesService

Centers for Independent Living around Georgia offer skills training, peer counseling, advocacy, and help moving out of nursing homes or other institutions. The Atlanta center is disABILITY Link.

Older Blind / Project IndependenceProgram

Independent living help for people age 55 or older who are blind or have low vision, such as daily living skills, mobility, technology training, and support groups. Local partner agencies provide it.

Pre-Employment Transition ServicesProgram

Offers job exploration, workplace readiness, work-based learning, self-advocacy, and post-secondary counseling for students with disabilities.

A residential vocational learning and training campus for young adults with disabilities, with job pathways and employment support after graduation.
