Mental health and family support for any family. Staff can also help you find other local groups if they cannot meet a need themselves.

Food PantryService

A food pantry at the Family Resource Center in Canton. It is open on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons.

Goshen HomesProgram

Goshen finds, trains, licenses and supports foster families who take in groups of brothers and sisters so they can stay together. Families can be the main foster home or give short breaks (respite) to other foster parents.

Goshen New BeginningsProgram

An independent living program for foster youth ages 17 to 21. It gives housing, life coaching, and help with school, work and life skills.

Goshen Therapeutic ServicesProgram

Counseling for children, teens, adults, couples and families, with play therapy rooms for young children. Other help includes support groups, case management, drug screening, and psychological testing. Services are offered in Spanish too.

Goshen Valley Boys RanchProgram

A family-style home for more than 40 young men in foster care ages 12 to 18, on 160 acres in northern Cherokee County. The boys get counseling, public school and a recreation program.

Plans of Safe CareService

A plan made with a parent when a baby was exposed to drugs or alcohol before birth. It links the family to doctors, support services and community resources, during pregnancy and after the baby is born.
