Call to talk with an advocate who will listen, go over your options, and help you make a safety plan. Calling does not mean you have to leave.

Case management and follow-upService

A case manager meets with you one-on-one to set goals and plan next steps like money, housing, and school for children. After you leave the shelter, an outreach coordinator follows up.

Children's programProgram

Kids take part in fun, safe, learning activities, matched to their age group. Topics include living in a shelter, personal space, safety, healthy relationships, and bullying. There is also a trauma-intervention program for children.

Community education on domestic violenceProgram

Harmony House gives talks to groups about domestic violence. Topics include spotting abuse, teen dating violence, violence in the workplace, and training for faith leaders, courts, police, and lawyers. Talks can be customized for a group.

Crisis intervention and advocacyService

Advocates help with legal matters like protective orders and going with you to court. They also connect you with other local agencies for what you need.

Domestic violence safety planningService

Staff work with you to make a plan that lowers your risk of danger. The plan is updated when your life changes, like a new job or a new home.

Emergency shelterService

A safe, private place to stay for people leaving abuse. Staff are on site day and night, and residents get ongoing case management.

Individual and Group Counseling/SupportService

There are weekly support groups, including a co-dependency group, self-defense training, and learning about domestic violence. Staff also offer one-on-one support, and can point you to local counselors.
