Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless, Inc. (Hosea Helps)

Care Center: emergency food and benefits screeningService

A walk-in center at the headquarters warehouse. It gives free emergency groceries, SNAP sign-up and renewal, benefits screening, and household items like clothing and toiletries. Staff can also check if you qualify for help with rent, utilities and other needs.

Homeless PreventionService

Helps families keep their homes or get back into housing. Help includes rent and mortgage money, utility help, rapid rehousing, emergency shelter in extreme weather, job help, and transportation help.

Hosea Mobile (food and services delivered to communities and schools)Program

Hosea Helps brings free food and services to low-income apartment communities and schools. Services can include groceries, SNAP sign-up, benefits screening, health screenings and job readiness help. Nonprofits can also register for bulk food.

Nonprofit Capacity BuildingProgram

Hosea Helps gives other nonprofits that serve low-income families bulk food, clothing, supplies and training, free of charge.

Rental Assistance and Intensive Case ManagementService

Helps individuals and families with rental assistance and case management support.

Services for Children (Back to School and Children's Christmas Party)Program

A holiday party for low-income families with a toy for each child, a hot meal, games, face painting and a visit with Santa. Families also get public benefits planning. It is on Saturday, December 19, 2026 at the headquarters.

The Labor of LoveService

A yearly Labor Day job festival for low-income communities. It has a job fair with companies hiring, job readiness seminars, financial planning classes, free professional clothing, fresh produce and SNAP sign-up.

VolunteeringProgram

Individuals, groups, schools, businesses and churches can volunteer. Up to 250 people can work at once. It is also a place to complete community service hours.
