iFoster and AARP offer training modules about becoming a foster parent, kinship care, navigating child welfare, and supports available to caregivers.

Community Health PathwayProgram

A pilot program for youth who want a health care career. iFoster hires and trains members for paid internships as Public Health Ambassadors at Eisner Health clinics in Los Angeles County. Members can interview for permanent jobs when they finish.

Community Service PathwayProgram

iFoster hires and trains current and former foster and probation youth for paid internships. They help other young people at colleges, child welfare agencies, and youth nonprofits. Members train to be Peer Support Specialists.

iFoster Membership and Resource PortalService

A free online account that gives foster youth, caregivers, and agency workers access to resources and supports. It includes discounts and coupons, help with daily living costs, school and work aids, and life skills trainings.

iFoster TAY Assistant and Digital LockerService

The TAY Assistant helps current and former foster, kinship, and crossover youth store documents, find resources, apply for programs, and track tasks as they move into adulthood.

Ifoster TechService

iFoster Tech gives laptops and cell phone service to transition-age youth when funding is available. It is for foster youth and may also help caregivers.

Jobs ProgramProgram

A training, internship, and job placement program for foster youth moving toward independence. It teaches job skills and connects youth with employer partners. Some jobs include benefits, and some offer scholarships or tuition help.
