LGBTQ+ OutreachService

SAA welcomes members of all gender identities and sexual orientations. The LGBT Outreach Subcommittee helps connect LGBTQ+ members with sponsors, and the meeting search can show meetings with an LGBT focus.

Prisoner OutreachProgram

The ISO sends SAA literature and helps identify members who can correspond with and sponsor incarcerated people who request help.

SAA LiteratureService

SAA recovery books and pamphlets can be read free online. You can also order printed copies from the online store, by phone or by mail from the ISO office. Some literature is in Spanish, French and Italian.

An online search tool for SAA meetings. You can filter for online or phone meetings and for meetings with an LGBTQ+ focus.

SAA Twelve Step Recovery ProgramProgram

SAA uses the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous, to help people stop addictive sexual behavior. Members work the steps with a sponsor and define their own sobriety, sometimes using a tool called the Three Circles.

Self-Assessment QuizService

A short set of questions that helps you think about whether sexual behavior is causing problems in your life. It points to next steps like contacting SAA, reading, or attending a meeting.

The Outer Circle NewsletterProgram

The ISO publishes The Outer Circle newsletter every two months with member stories, recovery writing, and ISO news.

Volunteer Service at the ISOProgram

Members can volunteer on ISO committees, such as the board, literature, outreach, public information and the website. People who want to help can fill out a service resume on the service website.
