Career counseling and resume helpService

Help with finding work, including interview practice, job search skills, networking, and resume help. It is offered as part of the group's work to empower survivors.

Community education and workshopsProgram

Workshops for the community. Past sessions included teen dating violence workshops for teens and financial literacy classes for women.

Emergency material assistanceService

Basic goods for survivors and families, such as food, baby wipes and diapers, hygiene pads, and home furniture.

Language Access ProgramProgram

Staff speak many languages, including Amharic, French, Swahili, Arabic, Kinyarwanda, Tigrinya, Urdu, Hindi and Bengali. Phone language lines cover other languages, and the group can translate forms for partner groups.

Legal Advocacy ProgramService

Legal advocates help survivors with the court system, including protective orders, victim compensation, divorce, custody, and landlord matters. They can go to court hearings with you. For divorce and immigration cases, the group works with lawyers who give free help.

Mental health counseling and supportService

Counseling and emotional support for survivors of sexual and domestic violence, given with respect for a person's culture.

Project CLEARProgram

A planned community center where immigrants and refugees can use computers and the internet for free. Staff would help with job applications, resumes, social service forms, and setting up email.

Project SAFEProgram

Community outreach and education about sexual and domestic violence. Workshops cover healthy and unhealthy relationships, the cycle of violence, and where to find help. The group also offers school programs.
