Behavioral Health and PsychiatryService

Mercy Care offers mental health and recovery support, including psychiatry, at all of its clinics. New patients first get a primary care visit, then meet a behavioral health specialist. Psychiatry is outpatient only and is not right for some needs.

City of Refuge ClinicService

Mercy Care has a clinic at 1300 Joseph E. Boone Blvd. Children can get care there, and staff speak Spanish. Adult primary care and behavioral health are listed as available at all clinics.

Clinical VolunteeringProgram

Licensed clinicians and certified clinical support staff can volunteer to care for people facing barriers to care. Mercy Care is looking for dentists, nurse practitioners and several kinds of doctors.

Community Health Outreach and Street MedicineProgram

Mercy Care outreach teams meet people on the streets, in parks and in shelters. They hand out items like hygiene kits, water, jackets and transit cards. The street medicine team gives medical and mental health care, including medicine, in camps, under bridges and in parking lots.

Community VolunteeringProgram

People and groups can volunteer to make hygiene kits and meal kits, collect coats and warm items, and help at seasonal community events. Contact Nicole Smith to get started.

Dental CareService

Mercy Care offers dental care for children and adults at its Decatur Street and Chamblee clinics. A dental clinic at Neighborhood Union was listed as coming soon.

Mental Health and Substance Abuse ServicesService

Mental health and substance abuse care is listed as a service at the Chamblee, Decatur Street and Gateway Center clinics. The pages give no more detail about it.

Mercy Care PharmacyService

The Mercy Care Pharmacy at 424 Decatur Street SE fills prescriptions for Mercy Care patients only. It is open Monday to Friday and closed on weekends.
