Check & Connect training and supportProgram

GLRS staff provide free statewide training and support for Check & Connect, a K-12 dropout prevention intervention for students showing early warning signs of disengagement.

Disability Resource CenterService

This program gives training and resources to parents of students with disabilities. It helps families learn how to support school needs and find their way through services.

Materials loan libraryService

A library where materials can be loaned. It has instructional kits, audio-visual equipment, software, study guides, adapted speech devices, tests, adapted toys, videos and books.

Materials Production CenterService

A center with equipment for making classroom and learning materials. It has laminators, a poster printer, die cutters, a color copier, button makers and book binders.

Parent information and resourcesService

Metro East GLRS gives parents of students with disabilities information and resources. It works with the Georgia Parent Mentor Program so parents can take an active part in their child's education.

Professional learning and technical assistanceProgram

GLRS gives ongoing professional learning to local school systems to help them meet federal special education requirements. The pages do not list specific trainings or dates.
