Caregiver Support NetworkService

This program gives supplies to families caring for a child while the child’s mother is in jail or prison. It is for caregiver families, including those caring for teens and children.

Family Resource ReferralsService

A page of free crisis and support phone and text lines, plus a Georgia map of programs for recovery, treatment, pregnancy and parenting, food, housing and re-entry. The map says to call a program before you go.

Holistic Family Support / Infant and Caregiver SupportProgram

Helps relatives and friends who take in a baby when the baby's mother is in prison. They get a needs check, a Begin Box of newborn items, monthly diapers and help finding other resources.

Reentry and ReunificationProgram

Helps mothers in prison and their families get ready to be together again after release. This includes help paying for calls, video visits and emails, parenting education, counseling, documents, a work plan and a safe place to live.

Research and AdvocacyProgram

Partners with Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health to study how incarceration affects infants, mothers, and caregivers and uses the findings to improve programs and advocate for policy changes.
