Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV)

24-Hour Crisis LineService

A phone line that is always open. You can call to make a safety plan, get information, or just talk. Friends and family worried about someone can call too.

Counseling ServicesService

PADV has licensed therapists and interns who offer one-on-one counseling for survivors. It also gives resource referrals and workshops about domestic violence and coping.

DV Coordinated EntryService

This is the first step for survivors who need housing. A team looks at your housing needs and puts you on PADV's housing priority list.

DV Training / SpeakersService

PADV will design a training or send a speaker about domestic violence for your students, workers, or group. You can ask for a virtual or in-person session.

Emergency ShelterService

PADV runs two emergency shelters, one in Fulton County and one in Gwinnett County. Most people who stay are women and children, but single men have stayed too. Each adult gets an advocate and each child gets a child advocate.

Financial AssistanceService

Survivors who need money help can apply through PADV. The money is limited, and PADV cannot promise you will get it.

Legal AdvocacyService

PADV advocates guide survivors through the legal process, including getting a temporary protection order. The team works at the Gwinnett County Jail and the Fulton County Courthouse.

Outreach and Prevention EducationProgram

PADV teaches the community about domestic violence and how to prevent and end it. It also runs dating violence prevention and workshops for youth.
