Atlanta Local ChapterProgram

This is the Atlanta program of Project Healing Waters. It is listed at a Team Red White and Blue site on Biscayne Dr and 14th St NW. The program lead is Chip Cavin.

Casting TechniqueProgram

Participants learn fly casting, from the basic cast to more advanced skills like the double-haul. It is part of the ongoing classes at local programs.

Disabled Veteran Fly Fishing ClassProgram

Volunteers teach fly fishing on an ongoing basis, from beginner to experienced. Classes include time on the water. The group also builds friendships among veterans.

Fishing OutingsProgram

Local programs offer one-day and multi-day fishing trips at no charge. You first join your local program and learn the basics.

Fly TyingProgram

Participants learn to tie their own flies. It is also a way to build friendships with other veterans and volunteers.

Oakwood Local ChapterProgram

This is the northeast Georgia program, listed at the Oakwood clinic site in Gainesville. It connects eligible veterans and service members with fly fishing activities and volunteer mentors.

Rod BuildingProgram

Participants build their own fly rods with help from volunteers. Many veterans find the craft calming and rewarding.

Sisters on the RiseProgram

This is Project Healing Waters' effort to honor the experiences and needs of women who have served. The pages do not say what events or activities it includes.
