Bridge for EducationService

A multi-year program for wounded post-9/11 veterans who are in school. Each veteran gets a case manager, mentoring, tutoring, financial coaching and career help, and support continues after graduation.

Career and Job AssistanceService

Sentinels get help with resumes, interview practice and skills assessment. They also get introductions to employers and networking, during the program and after graduation.

Current Non-Financial Support ApplicationService

The application portal says they are currently accepting applications for non-financial support such as mentoring, networking, career coaching, and other benefits.

Financial Coaching and PlanningService

Veterans in the Bridge program get financial coaching and help with budgeting and financial planning. A meeting with a financial planner is part of the program.

Online Tutoring (NetTutor)Service

Veterans in the Bridge program get free online tutoring in math and English through NetTutor. It is open day and night, every day.

Student Veteran Resource Centers SupportProgram

Sentinels of Freedom works with colleges and company partners to start student veteran resource centers on campus. These are calm spaces where student veterans can study, meet each other and find help. The campuses listed on the site are in California, Tennessee and Montana.

Veteran MentoringProgram

Veterans in the Bridge program are paired with mentors who help with school plans, career choices, job searching, budgeting and encouragement. Mentors also help a veteran get ready for a career at graduation.

Volunteer as a MentorProgram

People can volunteer to mentor veterans in the Bridge program. Mentors share their career path and give guidance, motivation and support.
