A phone line that is answered every hour of every day. A trained advocate answers and can help you plan next steps, such as meeting you at the hospital or setting up an exam.

Coping Books for SurvivorsService

SARC has free booklets for survivors and the people close to them about healing, the legal process, and finding help. There is a book for teens ages 11 to 18 and a Spanish-language book. You can download them from the website.

CounselingService

SARC's licensed counselors meet one-on-one with survivors to work through trauma and plan healing at their own pace. Partners, family, and loved ones can get counseling too.

Education and Prevention TrainingProgram

SARC gives talks and trainings on topics like consent, healthy relationships, and safe boundaries. Youth programs, clubs, organizations, and workplaces can ask for a session.

Medical and Forensic ExamsService

Specially trained nurses (SANEs) check for injuries, give medicine to prevent infection, and collect evidence if you choose. Exams can be at SARC's center or at a hospital, and you can say no to any part.

Sexual Assault Survivor Support ServicesService

SARC offers medical care, counseling, and advocacy to people who have survived sexual assault. You can use these services even if you are not sure what happened or have not told the police.

Survivor AdvocacyService

An advocate is a trained support person who explains your options and goes with you to the exam, police interview, or court if you want. Advocates do not make decisions for you.

Survivor support groupsProgram

SARC wants to start a new support group for survivors of sexual assault and is asking people what times and places would work. The group would be open to all survivors, not only SARC clients. Fill out the interest form and a counselor will contact you.
