Benefits AssistanceService

Caseworkers help people check if they qualify for public benefits and fill out the applications. This includes SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, CAPS, and TANF.

Client-Choice Food PantriesService

Food pantries where you pick out the food you want, including fresh produce, meat, baked goods, and shelf-stable items. There are pantries at the Chamblee center and at local sites across Georgia.

Community PharmacyProgram

A charity pharmacy with a licensed pharmacist that fills prescriptions for long-term health conditions for people who cannot afford them. It serves people across Georgia.

Emergency Financial AssistanceProgram

Money help with rent, mortgage, and utility bills for people at risk of eviction. Volunteer teams at local Catholic parishes, called Conferences, decide what they can give based on the money they have.

Free Over-the-Counter Medicine & Medical EquipmentService

Free basic medicines for things like headaches, colds, and cuts. Also free wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and shower chairs.

Free Tax Preparation (VITA)Program

Each spring, trained volunteers prepare tax returns for free for low-income workers. They help families claim tax credits they may qualify for.

Health Education & ReferralsService

Workshops and classes on staying healthy and managing illness. The group can also point you to low-cost or free primary care clinics.
