Helps victims with information and support related to restitution owed in their case.

The pages explain how court-ordered restitution works for people on parole. Parolees pay at least $30 a month, and the money is sent to the victim through the Department of Corrections.

Victim Impact Sessions (VIS)Program

A meeting where a victim talks about their case with a Board Member, a victim services staff member and a senior hearing examiner. It is for cases that will be reviewed for parole in 12 to 18 months.

Victim Information Program (VIP)Program

A 24-hour automated phone line. Victims and families can check an inmate's custody status. Registered people also get a computer-made call when the offender is released.

Victim Notification Registration & Impact StatementsService

Victims and family members can sign up to be told about a parole case and send the Board their views. They can send a written victim impact statement or a letter, and can object to parole.

Victim Offender Dialogue (VOD)Service

A safe, planned, one-on-one meeting between a victim of a violent crime and the offender. The victim starts the request, and the offender must choose to take part.
