A money program for families who are homeless. Through guided exercises, families learn budgeting, goal setting and saving, and see how small deposits can add up.

Corporate & Group Volunteering at the PantryProgram

Companies, churches, schools and other groups can volunteer at the pantry on Wednesdays. They restock shelves, receive donations and make express boxes. No background check is needed.

Employee Financial Assistance Programs (EFAP)Service

CFR runs money-help programs for employees of companies that hire CFR to manage them. Employees who face a hardship they could not control may get help to keep housing or pay basic bills.

Employment ServicesService

An employment case manager works with clients, mostly those in CFR housing programs, on career planning, job readiness, training and job search. The help comes through a partnership with CobbWorks.

Family Cupboard Choice PantryProgram

A choice pantry where families pick their own food, hygiene products, diapers and more, instead of getting a pre-packed box. Volunteers help shoppers on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Financial Literacy and StabilityProgram

Clients review their spending, make a budget and set money goals. They can also join life skills classes and online financial courses.

Food Security ProgramProgram

This six-month program gives families food and grocery items while a case manager helps them set goals to improve food security.

Housing Assessment / Coordinated Entry Point of EntryService

CFR is one of two places in Cobb County where people who are homeless can get a housing assessment. The assessment helps match them to housing help, and it can be done by phone or in person.
