MOMS4BPD brings mothers, fathers, and other family members together to advocate for better understanding and care for people with BPD.

National BPD Helpline and Resource Referral CenterService

A phone helpline that gives facts about BPD and its treatment. Staff can point callers to clinicians who use proven treatments, and to treatment programs and support groups.

TARA Method family classes and workshopsProgram

Classes and workshops that teach families how to help a loved one with BPD while taking care of themselves. They use ideas from DBT and mentalization-based therapy. Summer 2026 events were advertised.

Virtual Mentalization WorkshopProgram

This workshop teaches mentalization skills for understanding feelings, reactions, and relationship ruptures connected to BPD.

Volunteer and intern with TARA4BPDProgram

TARA4BPD looks for volunteers for social media, video editing, podcasts, and fundraising. It also takes psychology interns, who work at least 1-2 weekday afternoons a week.
