Staff help registered families find and use programs and services. These include Tuesday's Promise programs and those of partner organizations.

Community & Peer SupportProgram

Workshops, events, and peer groups where people with shared loss can support each other. Many are online, and some are in person around the country.

First Responders GroupProgram

An online peer support group for 9/11 first responders and recovery workers, led by a facilitator. The fall session is on the events page with the schedule still to be set.

Parent Loss GroupsProgram

An online peer support group for adults who lost a parent on 9/11 or to a 9/11-related illness. The fall session runs Oct 14 to Nov 19, 2026, on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Sibling Loss GroupProgram

An online peer support group for adults who lost a sibling on 9/11 or in military service after 9/11. A June-July 2026 session has ended.

Spouse Loss GroupsProgram

Online peer support groups for adults grieving the loss of a spouse tied to 9/11 or military service. Fall groups are listed for military spouse suicide loss, 9/11 spouse loss, and Gold Star spouses, with times to be set.

Volunteer MentorProgram

Adults over 21 can volunteer as a mentor to a child ages 6-18. The time is about 1 hour a week for a year or more, with training and a background check.

Youth Mentoring ProgramProgram

A caring adult mentor is matched one-on-one with a child who lost a parent, guardian, or sibling in military service. They spend time together, talk, and share life experiences.
