Under this law, a Veteran in suicidal crisis can go to any VA or non-VA health care facility for free emergency care.

Front Door Urgent/Acute Mental Health ClinicService

This clinic gives same-day mental health and social work help at the medical center. It is for newly enrolled Veterans, Veterans not yet connected to VA providers, and Veterans who need help finding their way around VA. You can walk in or use a phone or video visit.

Housing help and support for Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Inpatient Medicine Social Work ServicesService

Social workers help Veterans who are in the hospital's medical and surgical units. They plan for a safe return home, help with VA benefits, and connect Veterans and families to housing, transportation and other help.

Intimate Partner Violence Assistance ProgramProgram

This program is for Veterans dealing with violence in a relationship, including those who are using violence or aggression. It offers a program called Strength at Home. Call for more information.
