Behavioral Health ServicesService

Offers counseling for children, teens, young adults, parents and caregivers. Choices are one-on-one, group and family therapy. Sessions are offered in Tucker and Gainesville, and by telehealth when it fits.

Community TrainingProgram

Trainings that help communities understand trauma, behavior challenges and adverse childhood experiences. They also teach ways to build resilience and handle stress. Offerings include Triple P, Community Resiliency Model and Reaching Teens.

Family Advocacy ProjectProgram

Gives free, private legal help to Hall County families so problems get handled early, before a child may be taken from the home. A team of attorneys, a social worker and peer advocates works with parents and caregivers. Joining is voluntary.

Family Housing ProgramProgram

Gives short-term housing and support to families with children who are about to lose their housing. Families also take classes in parenting, money skills and career coaching.

Foster CareProgram

Wellroot connects children from birth to age 18 with foster families and supports those families. Foster parents get a foster care worker, 24/7 on-call help, and supplies like clothing, diapers and school supplies. People who want to foster can go to an info session.

Functional Family TherapyProgram

A short family therapy program for families dealing with behavior, mental health or substance-use problems. A therapist works with the whole family on goals for change. It lasts four to six months.

Healthy Families Home VisitationProgram

Free home visits for expecting parents and families with a baby or toddler. A Family Support Specialist helps with bonding, child growth and family goals. Visits are weekly at first, then monthly.

Safety NetProgram

Helps young adults who have no stable home work toward permanent, lasting housing. It serves young people in Hall, Dawson and Forsyth counties.
