Wholesome Wave Georgia helps farmers and farmers markets get approved to take SNAP and set up wireless card machines. Farmers and market managers can email the team for help.

Food for HealthProgram

A produce prescription program run with healthcare providers. Patients who are food insecure or have diet-related health problems get prescriptions to spend on fruits and vegetables at partner farmers markets and take food and wellness classes.

Fresh for LessService

Farmers markets, farms, mobile markets, CSAs and independent stores can apply to join Fresh for Less so SNAP shoppers get matched produce dollars. Sites must be approved by USDA to take SNAP and pay a yearly network fee.

SNAP ConnectionService

Staff help you check if you can get SNAP, apply, and renew. They can also help with Medicaid, CAPS, TANF and WIC. The help is free.
