Emergency Placement ServicesService

YESS places a young person in a safe setting right away when they are in distress. It also provides supervision and an overnight or day sitter in a hotel, hospital or group home.

Family and Community Support ServicesProgram

Services for children, youth and families such as counseling, crisis help, assessments, rides, behavioral aides, parent education, supervised visits and home checks. Some are listed under Georgia service codes.

Lifeline Coaching ServicesService

Life coaching and home visits for young adults, offered in 90-day blocks as needed. The coaching builds a support network and self-sufficiency skills.

Rebound Support ServicesProgram

Help for young adults ages 18 to 24 who have been homeless on and off. A person helps them find an apartment and get rent, utility, food and MARTA help, plus job preparation. Monthly life skills groups are also offered.

YESS Bridge-Connect ILP InitiativeProgram

A step before the ILP for young adults leaving foster care who are not quite ready to move in. Each person gets a life coach and extra structure to reach education and independent living goals.

YESS Independent Living Program (ILP)Program

A three-step program that gives young adults in Georgia foster care an apartment and weekly one-on-one life coaching. In the last step, YESS helps pay rent for the youth's own place.

Youth Quest Independent Living ProgramProgram

Housing and life coaching for youth age 18 and older who choose to stay in DFCS custody until 21. Phase I is a furnished roommate-style apartment. In Phase II, youth age out with a lease in their own name.

Youth Rapid Re-HousingProgram

Help to move young adults ages 18 to 24 out of homelessness and into housing. It includes rent and move-in help and case management. You must first be pre-screened through Coordinated Entry.
