Who this is for

The pet must have a life-threatening or critical injury or illness that needs a specific treatment and has a good outlook. Owners must show financial hardship, such as meeting WIC guidelines or having a Medicaid card, an EBT card, or proof of welfare, disability or unemployment assistance. It does not cover ongoing or chronic conditions or existing vet bills.

How to apply

The attending veterinarian or a representative of the vet hospital fills out the online grant application. Applications from pet owners are rejected. The owner must agree that funds go to the vet and that Dylan's Hearts may use the animal's photos and information.
