A limited program that pays student loan balances straight to lenders for a few selected metro Atlanta residents. About $250,000 to $300,000 goes to no more than 15 requests in the 2026 round. Money is not paid to the person.

Who this is for
Must live in metro Atlanta (priority for Thomasville, South Cobb County, and South Fulton County, especially those living there three years). Household income under $150,000 a year by adjusted gross income on the latest tax filing. Owe no more than $50,000 in student or parent loans. Parent PLUS borrowers can apply. Winners stay in touch with the Foundation for at least three years.
