Who this is for

Georgia residents who cannot read regular print because of legal blindness, low vision, a physical disability that makes it hard to hold a book or turn pages, deaf-blindness, or a reading disability. A certifying professional such as a doctor, nurse, therapist or librarian must sign the application. Schools, hospitals, libraries and nursing homes can apply too.

How to apply

Print the individual application (or the institution one), fill it in, and have a certifying professional sign and date it. Then email, mail or fax it to GLS. If you used GLS or another NLS library in the past five years, call or email to restart service. Staff aim to send the player and first books within seven working days of getting a properly signed application.
