This is the main VA medical center for veterans in the Atlanta area, officially named the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur. It provides free or low-cost health care to enrolled veterans, including doctor visits, mental health and PTSD care, surgery, emergency care, pharmacy, dental, and women's health. The emergency room is open 24 hours a day, and the center also connects veterans to crisis help and community care.

Recovery Consultants of Atlanta (RCA) is a nonprofit community health center in Decatur that helps people recover from drug and alcohol use and stay healthy. They offer doctor visits, mental health and behavioral care, addiction treatment, HIV and STI testing and prevention (including PrEP and PEP), and recovery support like peer coaching and job help. Care is for everyone, with a focus on people who are low-income, homeless, or living with HIV or hepatitis.

Fayette C.A.R.E. Clinic was a free nonprofit health clinic in Fayetteville that served uninsured adults (18+) who did not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare. It closed permanently on May 14, 2026. Former patients are now referred to Healing Bridge Clinic at (770) 681-0157 for continued care.
