After School & Summer ProgramsService

After-school help in reading and math for students who are still learning English, from elementary through high school. There is also a 6-week summer program in June and July.

Civic Engagement and Voter RegistrationProgram

CPACS works to get community members involved in voting and helps them register to vote.

Community Health ProgramsProgram

Health education and prevention work, including HIV education and testing, tuberculosis and opioid education, youth life skills and drug prevention, and community health fairs.

Covid-19 VaccinationService

The home page lists free Covid-19 vaccines for adults who have no health insurance or whose insurance does not fully cover the shot.

Domestic Violence Support ServicesService

CPACS lists support services for people affected by domestic violence. Its housing page also lists shelter for people affected by domestic violence.

First-Time Homebuyer WorkshopProgram

A full-day class for people planning to buy a first home. It covers budgeting, loans, closing, and how to avoid loan fraud, and you get a certificate for down payment help programs.

Food PantryService

CPACS gives out food and groceries to local people who do not have enough to eat.

Health insurance enrollment (ACA Navigator) and benefits helpService

Staff help people sign up for health coverage through the ACA marketplace and point them to Medicaid. They also help with public benefits, and the home page lists help with the energy bill program LIHEAP.
