You share your income, bills and debts online, get an estimated plan, and then work with a counselor by email, chat or phone to adjust it. MMI says its credit counseling is free and confidential.

Debt Management PlanProgram

MMI works with your creditors to lower interest rates and sets up one monthly payment you make to MMI. The review to see if it fits is free, but the plan has fees.

Debt Resolution PlanProgram

MMI negotiates with your creditors so you repay only part of what you owe. Once the agreed amount is paid, the debts count as paid off.

Disaster recovery counselingService

A counselor helps disaster survivors make a recovery plan, apply for FEMA aid and file insurance claims, and checks in monthly for up to a year. It gives counseling and guidance, not money.
