HAND Property Qualification and Repair Escrow GuidanceService

NACA's Home and Neighborhood Development (HAND) department helps buyers check a home's condition and plan repairs. Buyers can have money set aside in a rehab escrow to fix the home after closing.

Home SaveService

Free help for homeowners who cannot afford their mortgage. An advocate works with your lender to change the loan terms or lower the interest rate so the payment fits your budget.

Homebuyer Workshop (HBW)Program

A free class of about four hours that explains NACA's home buying program and how to get ready for a NACA mortgage. It is the first step in the purchase process.

HOT-PHAProgram

Lets people with a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher use it toward a NACA mortgage payment. The payment the housing authority now pays a landlord goes to the lender instead.

Housing and Financial CounselingService

NACA's HUD-certified counselors work one-on-one with homebuyers, homeowners and renters. They help with budgets, papers and finding a mortgage payment you can afford.

Landlord Training (online course)Service

A free online course for NACA Members who want to buy a multi-family property. It explains a landlord's risks and duties. It meets the landlord education rule for NACA Qualification on those homes.

Membership Assistance Program (MAP)Program

Help for homeowners who have a NACA mortgage and run into a hardship. Members can get up to three months of money to help make mortgage payments on time.
