Who this is for
You must be the parent or legal guardian of a child with a mental health, substance use, or both kinds of diagnosis. The child can be an adult. You need a high school diploma or GED and a letter of reference. You should be working as a parent peer supporter, hoping to, or have related experience such as volunteering or advocacy. Foster parents do not qualify. Grandparents can if they have legal guardianship papers.
How to apply
Fill out the application and get a recommendation letter. Send them in using the registration link on the CPS-P page. Everyone must pass a test to become certified.
