When a family member, youth, or professional calls GPSN looking for a specific service or support, GPSN staff help them find what they need.

Certified Peer Specialist - Parent TrainingProgram

A 5-day training for parents and legal guardians who have raised a child with mental health or substance use needs. It teaches them to use that experience to support other parents.

Certified Peer Specialist - Youth TrainingProgram

A 5-day training for young adults who have lived with mental health or substance use challenges. It teaches them to use that experience to support other youth and young adults.

Fulton Youth Homelessness ProgramProgram

A Fulton County effort with GPSN and other providers that meets the needs of homeless youth and young adults ages 18 to 24 in Fulton County.

Help Finishing School and Finding TrainingService

Part of the Transitional Youth Peer Center. Young adults are encouraged and helped to finish high school or a GED. The program also helps them find college, technical school, certificate, and trade union options.

Therapeutic Foster CareProgram

Places children who need extra support into the homes of trained foster care providers. GPSN also arranges community services, support, and training to keep the child in the community. GPSN is looking for foster parents and respite care providers.

Transitional Youth Peer CenterProgram

A program where young adults who have been through mental health challenges mentor others ages 17 to 26. It helps with life skills, school, work, housing, and finding a place in the community.

Youth M.O.V.E.Service

A youth-led group where young people ages 10 to 29 share experiences, learn to speak up for themselves, and push for better services. There is a statewide meeting on the first Saturday of each month, plus local chapters in several counties.
